Now that you have decided that modelling is something you wish to pursue,you should find yourself an agency who will promote you to obtain paid work and start building up your picture portfolio.
This is the most difficult area for wannabe models as there are so many scam or unreliable agencies operating on the internet.
We at Aztecphotos,have ongoing contracts to supply content to our own websites and outside contacts and therefore we can guarantee our models the offer of some paid work,but this not the norm as most agencies can not guarantee to find you work.
You will find photographers willing to do a shoot with you on a "TFP" or "TFCD" basis, which basically means you will get some images ,either printed, or on CD, in exchange for the photographer using the pictures taken during the shoot for his own personal or commercial uses.
Although we have occasionally undertaken "TFP" shoots, in our opinion,generally speaking this is for amateur photographers and not necessarily in the models best interest as the quality of the pictures
may not be good enough,but of course the best way to check quality is to ask for examples and that is the main reason why ( even if the model already has her own portfolio of images) we only use our own images on our websites, so that you can see the quality of images you are likely to receive from a shoot with us and you can decide if the quality is good enough for your requirements.
